Insurance information

Apart from our community acupuncture clinic, some of our acupuncturists offer private acupuncture treatments. Not all plans within any insurance company will provide coverage for acupuncture benefits. We understand that you may have already checked your insurance coverage, but all insurance benefits must be verified by our staff prior to treatment. Insurance patients are treated in a private treatment room separate and apart from the shared rooms of our community clinic. Private acupuncture sessions are not the same as community acupuncture sessions and therefore the rates are not the same. If insurance is used for these treatments, the patient will be responsible for any co-payments, co-insurance or deductibles. In New York, Medicaid insurance plans generally do not cover acupuncture. Medicare plans are very complicated at this time and it would be best for you to call us for further clarification. Insurance can be very complicated, but our billing staff will do their best to explain to you how your particular coverage works should you have any questions.

Call us at 718.775.8990 to see if you have coverage or fill out this form.
